Nevertheless, the ‘f’ word, or fund, is essential for this organisation. The board is very grateful to receive help in finding sponsors from readers, or maybe from those who are willing to be our sponsor.

To strengthen our organisation we also need some help to tell others about the formation of “Srikandi” and invite them to join us.

Those accepted as members are Indonesian woman who are married or have been married to foreign citizens, regardless of his nationalities. Prospective members or Indonesian woman who plan to marry foreign citizens are welcome to join our events. Board members are aware of the many challenges we are facing. However we are optimistic that with strong support and good co-operation from all members, we will be able to reach our goal.

All of us, members, prospective members, those who still feel reluctant to join our organisation come from different social and cultural background. Nevertheless we have one similarities: we have chosen, with God’s will, to have foreigners as our spouses.

Because of that we have some similar points in our family life, and in our social relationship, either in Indonesia or in the country where our husbands come from.

Let’s emphasize on our similarities; support each other so that together we can achieve our goal, which is to improve our quality of life. Come to our events. Be the first to greet others and introduce your self. Find new friends and enjoy your life!
